We thought climate change and nutjob truckers would be the downfall of society, but then along came the war on Ukraine, which is tragic in and of its own. Also tragic is the fact that the US is not even close to the beacon of morality it claims to be, as we watch what’s happening in horror and….refuse to send the air power and weaponry they need. Are pleading for. Will continue to be slaughtered without. We applaud the brave Ukrainians, say that we stand with them, and blather about all sorts of bullshit while in actuality, we flinch every time the russian sociopath opens his mouth. “Too risky!” our administration says.
 
We claim that we value human life more than expediency. Isn’t it pretty to think so.
 
We should be deeply ashamed. We are an embarrassment.
